The occupying authorities in the Kherson region again reported on the “regrouping” of Russian troops, necessary to “gather their strength”

The Russian military in the Kherson region are regrouping, said Kirill Stremousov , deputy head of the military-civilian administration of the region.

According to him, this is happening because "it is necessary to gather strength and strike back."

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian command continues the counteroffensive. On October 4, pro-Russian Telegram channels wrote that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had broken through the Russian defenses in the north of the Kherson region. The day before, Dudchany was occupied, then Ukrainian troops were able to recapture Davydov Brod.

On October 1, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation confirmed that Russian troops had left Liman (Donetsk region). According to the department, the troops were withdrawn "to more advantageous lines."

In early September, the Russian Ministry of Defense actually recognized the retreat in the Kharkov direction, but called it a "regrouping" from the Balakleya and Izyum regions for a "build-up" in the Donetsk direction.

In the summer, after Ukraine launched strikes on Zmeiny Island in the Black Sea, the Defense Ministry said that the Russian military "as a step of goodwill" had completed "the fulfillment of the assigned tasks" and withdrew the garrison stationed there.
