The Pskov deputy of Yabloko and members of the Golos movement came with searches in the case of “discrediting” the army

Pskov-based Yabloko deputy Nikolai Kuzmin, coordinator of the Perm-based Golos Vitaly Kovin, and several other members of the Golos movement in different regions were searched in connection with the case of “discrediting” the army, Network Freedoms reported .

A criminal case under the article “Discrediting the Russian Army” (280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), with which the searches are connected, was opened in Ivanovo because of the Telegram channel “Emigrant’s Diary”. The siloviki consider local activist Mikhail Gusev to be the owner of the channel. Also, according to the investigation, Kuzmin, Kovin, journalist Denis Kamalyagin, activist Ekaterina Novikova and the Step space are connected with this project.

As follows from the basis of the decision, Gusev was already brought to justice under a similar administrative article in July.

Searches also took place at the co-chairman of Golos Grigory Melkonyants, members of the Council of the movement Arkady Lyubarev and Irina Maltseva, the coordinator of the movement in the Chelyabinsk region Natalia Guseva.

In the search warrants, all of them are listed as witnesses in the Gusev case.
