In Russia, another mobilized for the war died: Alexander Koltun, a 35-year-old resident of Bratsk, died in a Novosibirsk conscript camp. The publication Taiga Info drew attention to the post of his mother Elena Gudo in Odnoklassniki.
Koltun went to war as a mobilization volunteer. He told his mother that they were not given a uniform, they were not fed, that “everyone was staggering and drinking.” He allegedly died of a heart attack, but he did not complain about heart problems, his mother says.
“On September 28, he volunteered for mobilization completely sober. And in Novosibirsk, on October 2, he died, as if from a heart attack, when he never complained about his heart and was not registered. We cannot take the body away, the authorities do not assist us, we have been sitting in ignorance for three days. Think well before you send your sons. In different cities, there are many dead who have not yet begun to serve. Then it will be too late. Remember with a kind word my son Sashenka, ”she wrote.
According to Elena Gudo, “some people on the phone” are trying to convince her that her son died from low-quality alcohol and that he drank in the camp. “Now they are talking about heart failure … But the fact is that my son never abused alcohol. He went to Ukraine absolutely consciously, voluntarily, at his own request. He called from the training unit and said that there was a complete mess, no one was watching the mobilized, everyone was doing what they wanted, ”the woman says .
In Bratsk, the man had six children.
The camp for conscripts is organized on the basis of the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School. There are people mobilized from the Novosibirsk and Irkutsk regions, the Krasnoyarsk Territory and several other regions. The death of Koltun is already at least the tenth known case since the beginning of mobilization.
The day before, the conscript died in Penza – a man died of a heart attack at the training ground. In the Sverdlovsk region, three people died at once in the Yelansky garrison – the causes were suicide, a heart attack and alcohol. Deaths were also recorded in Vladivostok, Omsk, Kabardino-Balkaria, and the Tyumen region.
