A new decree on deferment from mobilization has been published. It will affect graduate students, residents and students of spiritual educational organizations

A new version of the decree "On granting a deferment from conscription for military service for mobilization" has been published. This was reported by the press service of the Kremlin. The new decree will apply to legal relations that have arisen since September 21, when President Vladimir Putin announced a "partial" mobilization in the country.

According to the document, the deferment will be granted to students of full-time and part-time forms of study, for the first time receiving secondary vocational or higher education. Now graduate students, medical residents and students of spiritual educational organizations will receive a deferment. In addition, the new version of the decree also covers private universities with state accreditation.

Military mobilization and the outflow of the population from Russia caused by it will lead to a collapse in the labor market, Kommersant wrote . In the two weeks since its announcement, the market has lost at least 700,000 able-bodied citizens, which is about 1% of the entire workforce. Previously, companies in the Russian Federation complained that the Ministry of Defense mobilizes leading specialists, who are often critical for enterprises. The government is proposed to extend the reservation to 30% of employees with a staff of 15 or more people and 50% of the staff if the number is less than 15 people.
