The military commissar of the Khabarovsk Territory Sergey Laiko, whose dismissal for "excesses" during the mobilization of the Russians was reported by the governor of the region Mikhail Degtyarev, returned to his post. The decision was made by the command of the Eastern Military District. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Earlier than all. Well, almost ”with reference to sources.
Prior to this, Laiko was sent to a similar post in the Magadan region "due to the need for service."
The day before, Degtyarev said that half of the mobilized residents of the Khabarovsk Territory were called up by mistake, because of which the military commissar was fired. Announcing the dismissal of Laiko, he stated that all facts of inflection should be suppressed. The removal of the commissioner will not affect the fulfillment of the tasks set by the president, Degtyarev noted.
