A truck was blown up on the Crimean bridge, as a result, seven fuel tanks of a railway train caught fire, RBC reports with reference to the National Anti-Terrorism Committee.

Two car spans of the bridge were partially collapsed, the NAC said.

“According to visual assessment, one automobile thread from Kerch to Taman is intact. The ferry service is ready for launch, it will start working from today. The timetable will be announced later. Now food and heating stations for drivers are being set up at the entrance to the bridge,” Aksyonov said.

According to eyewitnesses, the explosion occurred around 6 am. The alleged moment of the explosion was caught on video.

“Crimea, bridge, beginning. Everything illegal must be destroyed, everything stolen must be returned to Ukraine, everything Russian occupation must be expelled,” Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the presidential office of Ukraine, reacted to reports of the explosion.
