The driver of the truck that exploded on the automobile part of the Crimean bridge on the morning of October 8 received an order to transport fertilizers. It is reported by RBC with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies. Mash previously claimed that 52-year-old Mahir Yusubov, the uncle of the owner of the car: Samira Yusubov, could be driving the truck.
According to the source of the publication, the driver received the order via the Internet. The interlocutor also said that the driver was used blindly, according to preliminary data, he might not have known about the planned “terror attack”.
Explosive technicians from the local FSB department are currently working at the site of the explosion, they are trying to establish the nature and origin of the explosives.
The explosion on the automobile part of the Crimean bridge from the side of the Taman Peninsula thundered at 6:00 am on October 8. The head of the parliament of the annexed peninsula, Vladimir Konstantinov, said that "Ukrainian vandals" damaged the bridge.
Putin instructed to create a government commission in connection with the "state of emergency" and sent the head of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation Vitaly Savelyev and the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation Alexander Kurenkov to the site of the explosion. By the evening of October 8, the head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, announced the resumption of traffic on the bridge.
