The Security Service of Ukraine put Alexander Bortnikov, Vyacheslav Volodin, Viktor Zolotov, Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Valentina Matvienko, Sergei Shoigu, Sergei Naryshkin, Nikolai Patrushev and other Russian officials and deputies on the wanted list. Information about this appeared in the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic.

Earlier it became known that the SBU put the deputy head of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev on the wanted list. He is accused of encroaching on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine (part 2 of article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine; encroachment by a representative of the authorities or by prior agreement with a group of persons, or with inciting ethnic hatred). The maximum penalty under this article is up to ten years in prison with or without confiscation of property.

Also put on the wanted list was the press secretary of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. The department's website says that Zakharova is hiding from the pre-trial investigation. It is specified that she is charged with Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, an encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.
