Zemfira: “I pray every day that my country will stop this war”

Russian singer Zemfira made an anti-war statement at her concert in Limassol as part of her European tour.

“Today is the 228th day of the war. 228th day of hell that has become a reality. All this time I thought a lot, talked to myself about it. I do not like and do not know how to speak from the stage. But every day I pray that this war will stop, that my country will stop this war, ”Zemfira said from the stage.

After that, she sang the song "Do not shoot."

In July, it was reported that an unofficial "list of banned artists" appeared in Russia. The singers or groups listed in it spoke out against the war or were silent about Russia's actions in Ukraine. Among the "banned" artists are Zemfira, Noize MC, Oksimiron, Time Machine, Aquarium, Caste, Bi-2, Accident, Valery Meladze and many others.
