The governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov announced the shelling of the substation in Shebekino by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The message and photo were published in the Telegram channel.
According to him, the substation transformer was damaged by shells, more than two thousand residents were disconnected from electricity. There are no victims or injured, Gladkov said. He promised that the consequences would be eliminated "in the shortest possible time."
On September 28, an explosion occurred in the Valuisky urban district near the border, 14 people were injured. Gladkov said that "due to the human factor" the ammunition detonated.
