A court in Russia has suspended the mobilization decision for the first time since its announcement on 21 September. This was reported by human rights activist Pavel Chikov in the Telegram channel.
A man who received a subpoena as part of a "partial" mobilization applied for alternative civilian service. When he was refused, he filed a lawsuit in court challenging the legality of the decision of the military commissariat and the draft board. Chikov published the text of the court decision, but does not disclose the name of the conscript and other details "in the interests of the plaintiff and justice."
According to the human rights activist, the court accepted the claim and eventually satisfied the petition, suspending the decision to call for military service and the action of the summons until the court decision on the case comes into force. Now the mobilized is at the location of the military unit, he must be returned to his place of residence to participate in the trial.
