Peskov denies that a new wave of mobilization has begun in Russia. Earlier it was reported by the authorities of the Kursk and Rostov regions

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov assures that "there is no new wave of mobilization in Russia." So he commented on the statements of the regional authorities about the "new mobilization task" in the Kursk and Rostov regions.

According to Peskov, this is still the first wave of mobilization.

“There is no new wave of mobilization. Here it is necessary to clarify with each particular governor what they have in mind, ”says Peskov.

On the eve of the authorities of the Kursk and Rostov regions announced the beginning of the second stage of mobilization in the regions. According to the Rostov Governor Vasily Golubev, the region has received a "new mobilization task", and the municipal conscription commissions have already begun to fulfill it. The Rostov region reported on the fulfillment of the first "mobilization task" on October 3rd. The press service of the government of the Kursk region also stated that the first stage of mobilization was "completely completed", the second one is beginning.

On October 11, Yury Shvytkin, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense , spoke about this. He, like Peskov, denies the beginning of the second stage. According to him, mobilization is "a continuous process, it is not divided into any stages."

Officially, only two regions announced the second wave. However, after the break, the agendas began to be distributed to residents of other regions. So, the head of the annexed Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov , spoke about the implementation of the plan for “partial” mobilization on September 25, but in October the residents began to issue subpoenas again. The situation is similar in the Arkhangelsk region: the authorities announced the completion of the mobilization on September 30, but then the citizens again began to be rounded up to the military registration and enlistment offices.

At the same time, there are regular reports in the media about the death of those mobilized at training grounds – men do not reach the front. So, on October 12, it became known about the death of a mobilized born in 1989 in the Elan training center in the Sverdlovsk region. The man has heart problems. Already at least 18 mobilized people have died before reaching the combat zone.

There are reports of the death of those mobilized and directly in Ukraine, although men must be trained for several months before being sent to war. The Sverdlovsk publication Vecherny Karpinsk reported on the death of three mobilized with reference to relatives. According to preliminary information, the coffins with the "cargo-200" are going to Karpinsk from Kherson, where the soldiers came under fire.
