The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated 5 settlements in the Kherson region, shot down 4 Russian Ka-52s and 9 Iranian drones. The main thing about the counteroffensive in a day

The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated and entrenched themselves in five settlements of the Berislavsky district of the Kherson region. The Ukrainian military managed to liberate Novovasylivka, Novohrygorivka, Novaya Kamenka, Trifonovka and Krasnoe.

In addition, the Ukrainian military managed to shoot down four Russian Ka-52 helicopters. This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the military, the helicopters carried out fire support for Russian troops on the ground in the southern direction. Also, the Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 9 Shahed-136 Iranian kamikaze drones in the sky over the Nikolaev region.

On the western border of the Luhansk region, the engineering group of PMC Wagner began to build a defensive line – ditches, trenches and rows of anti-tank pillars. A video with work on the border was published by RIA FAN, which is associated with Yevgeny Prigozhin from PMC Wagner.

Ukrainian media compare the line under construction with the French system of fortifications "Maginot Line" on the border with Germany, which was created in 1928-1936. The defensive line in the "LPR" began to be built after the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkov direction.

Pro-Russian Telegram channels also write that fragments of an American AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missile were found in Belgorod, which was shot down by air defense forces over the region.

Five Russian mobilized told how they were taken prisoner in the Donetsk region. The video was posted on the Telegram channel by the head of the Lugansk OVA Serhiy Gaidai. Four of the prisoners were called up as part of the mobilization at the end of September, the fifth had been fighting since August.

“We arrived in the morning at some field, there were trenches. We were dropped off, they said – go, take positions in the trenches and sit. We landed, mortar bombing began, we were bombed three times a day. No tasks were set. We were with automatic weapons, there was nothing else. No food, no water. This went on for three days. Then came the downpour, we were flooded to the waist. Some left earlier, some later. We went with a friend later in the direction from where we arrived. There was a Ukrainian checkpoint there, we were told: "Drop your weapons if you want to live." And it all ended there, ”said the first prisoner of war.

The rest added that they were taken prisoner in the Svatovo region, the trenches were dilapidated, dug by an excavator, without dugouts, weapons were lying in them – “apparently from those who fled from the previous batch.”
