The mayor of Belgorod said that rocket fragments hit a multi-storey residential building. Eyewitnesses post footage on social media. It is not yet known what type of rocket in question.
According to the governor of the Belgorod region, we are talking about an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
“There is destruction in a residential apartment building on Gubkin Street. Information about the victims is being specified. Mayor of the city Anton Ivanov and all operational services are on site,” Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
It is reported that air defense is operating in the city. An ambulance and rescuers are on site.
