The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) returned the control of the village of Chervonoe in the Kherson region of Ukraine. The data is provided by the Conflict Intelligence Team (CIT) in its summary.
“The village of Chervonoe in the Kherson region was liberated with fighting by attack aircraft of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade. Thanks to the native Transcarpathian Legion for the service, the heroic struggle against the invaders and the peaceful sky,” said the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Military District Viktor Mikita.
The mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov, announced in the evening about at least two arrivals in the city and problems with power supply in some areas. According to Kharkovoblenergo, several districts are de-energized. The head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Sinegubov, called on residents to immediately go to shelters because of the shelling that had begun.
On the afternoon of October 13, Sinegubov reported that electricity supply had been restored for 10 thousand consumers, it would also appear at the Izyum bakery, which would ensure the production of bread for local residents.
“Power supply in Balakliya has been almost completely restored – 15,000 consumers have electricity. In Kupyansk, 4,000 people already have electricity. Our power engineers are holding their front and are now working throughout Ukraine. We cannot be intimidated by Russian missiles, because we are building, not destroying!”
On the evening of October 13, explosions thundered in the Oktyabrsky village of the Belgorod region of the Belgorod region, then a fire broke out. On one of the videos, eyewitnesses commented that something was burning in the area of the Dmitrotaranovsky sugar plant. The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine blew up an ammunition depot in the village.
Also on October 13, the mayor of Belgorod, Anton Ivanov, said that rocket fragments had hit a multi-storey residential building. According to Gladkov, we are talking about an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petr Andryushchenko, believes that we can talk about the work of the Russian air defense system.
In the afternoon, both Ukraine and Russia confirmed the exchange of prisoners: both sides returned 20 military personnel each. Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said that Ukraine had returned 14 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, four fighters of the territorial defense, one National Guard and one Navy soldier. Among them are people whom the Russians kept in Yelenovka, in the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
The Russian Defense Ministry also said that 20 people were returned, no details were given.
The fortifications in the photographs published on October 12 were filmed, as it turned out, in the area of the town of Gorsky near Lisichansk. A video appeared on social networks, in which Russian servicemen complain that they had to buy all the uniforms at their own expense, and say hello to the governor of the Voronezh region Alexander Gusev, who came to the unit on October 8. One of the men claims that Gusev did not even approach them and ask how they were doing.

The local publication Bloknot Voronezh contacted the press service of the government of the Voronezh region for a comment after the video appeared online. The press service thanked the servicemen for "a positive attitude in assessing what is happening."
“After all, it is not always smooth when such important processes take place, as they say, from the wheels. On the specified date, the governor actually visited the military unit where the mobilized people, including those from the Voronezh region, are staying, and watched their practice firing. It is possible that the participants in the video were practicing military operations at that moment and did not have the opportunity to directly contact the governor.
The publication also claims that as a result of Gusev's visit, it was decided to provide assistance and support to the military unit.
On October 12, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated five settlements of the Beryslavsky district of the Kherson region and entrenched themselves there. The Ukrainian military managed to liberate Novovasylivka, Novohrygorivka, Novaya Kamenka, Trifonovka and Krasnoe. The Ukrainian military also managed to shoot down four Russian Ka-52 helicopters.
