On St. Petersburg TV they showed a story about the wedding of the mobilized. 43 couples entered into marriage, the deputies presented them with services

St. Petersburg TV channel "Zaliv TV" showed a story about the marriage ceremony for the mobilized. 43 couples got married in the registry office of the Kurortny district.

Couples were invited to take part in a "special registration ceremony for ten couples at once." It looked like this: the brides and grooms were sitting on chairs in the hall, the registry office employee asked them if they agreed to get married. In turn, the newlyweds stood up when their names were called and answered "yes". Then they signed the marriage papers. The newlyweds exchanged rings and kisses at the same time, standing between the chairs.

The ceremony was also attended by deputies of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg.

“Let me shake your hand and say thank you that you didn’t run away, you weren’t afraid that you were here. And the victory will be ours,” said local deputy Vera Sergeeva, handing a service to one of the couples.

“The gift is very good, for the whole family. I’ll come back from the war, we’ll definitely have a drink from him,” says one of the mobilized suitors.

The fact that mobilized people can get married on the day they apply to the registry office was previously reported by the Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova. “For this, a serviceman needs to write a statement to his commander, receive a certificate of mobilization and apply for a leave. After that, he can arrive with his future wife at the registry office and marry on the same day as an exception due to mobilization, ”Moskalkova wrote in the Telegram channel .
