TASS: more than 70 Russian military trades were subjected to cyber attacks during mobilization

At the end of September, there was a surge in cyberattacks on online stores selling military equipment. In total, more than 70 stores were attacked. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Russian cyberattack prevention company StormWall.

According to them, the attacks were recorded in ten regions of Russia. Among the cities are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Voronezh, Murmansk and others. Stores such as Gorsing, Voenrus, Rusarmyshop and others were attacked.

A surge of attacks occurred during the mobilization. Their maximum capacity was 100 thousand requests per second. Such an attack is considered average, but it was enough to disable the sites, since most of them did not use professional protection against DDoS attacks. Some sites were attacked within hours, others within days.
