Death toll in Yeysk plane crash rises to 15

The death toll after the fall of the Su-34 on a nine-story building in Yeysk increased to 15 people. This was announced by the Deputy Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Anna Minkova.

“The burn victim died,” she said. Previously, she reported that in a 51-year-old patient, body burns amounted to 80%.

Officials assure that from October 19, all victims will begin to receive material assistance. So, the authorities will pay for the funeral of the dead: “Some part [of the funeral payment] will be at the expense of the city and the region, some at the expense of the region,” the head of the region said .

The families of the victims are promised 1 million rubles each, those injured in a moderate and severe condition – 400 thousand rubles, for the loss of property – 100 thousand rubles for each family member. Each victim will receive a one-time payment of 10,000 rubles.

A Su-34 military aircraft crashed near a residential building in Yeysk, Krasnodar Territory, on the evening of October 17, the pilots managed to eject. A fire broke out at the crash site, explosions sounded. The fire damaged several floors of the building.
