The State Duma decided not to broadcast its meetings live, citing a “special operation” – TASS and RIA

The State Duma Council decided to limit online broadcasts of plenary sessions of the lower house of parliament. This is reported by RIA Novosti and TASS . The reason for refusing live broadcasts was the "legislative support of the special operation."

“A significant part of the agenda of the meetings is related to the discussion of measures to support soldiers and officers performing the tasks of the NMD. And also with the discussion of all issues related to the legislative support of the special operation,” TASS reports.

Now only accredited journalists who will be allowed into the press center will be able to find out what is happening at the meetings. Previously, all plenary sessions of the State Duma were available for viewing live on the website of the lower house of parliament.
