Since October 10, as a result of Russian shelling, 30% of Ukrainian power plants have been destroyed. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Twitter:

“A type of Russian terrorist attack targeting Ukrainian energy and critical infrastructure. Since October 10, 30% of Ukrainian power plants have been destroyed, resulting in massive power outages across the country. There is no room left for negotiations with the Putin regime.”

On the morning of October 10, Russia launched a massive shelling of Ukraine. As a result of the shelling, the reserve line that supplied the settlements of the Kharkiv region was temporarily out of order, which left the region without electricity. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the infrastructure of the settlements of Veselaya Dolina, Dry Pond, Zaitsevo, New York, Kostromka, Pervomayskoye, Belogorovka, Kam, Stepnoye, Maly Shcherbaki, Belaya Krinitsa, Yuryevka and Mirnoye was damaged from air strikes and shelling of MLRS.
