The investigative publication Metla received a notification that the site was blocked at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office.
The formal reason is “repeated placement of information disseminated in violation of the requirements” of the law.
Metla will continue its work, the editorial said in a statement.
The publication is engaged in anti-corruption investigations. Journalists consider it their mission to "control the ruling circles and tell the public about their activities", as well as "to give a voice to those whom they prefer not to hear."
