Apple disables smart home control from SberDevices

Apple has removed the Salut and Salut! apps from its AppStore. Smart Home" and, as a result, disabled the ability to manage a "smart" home from SberDevices. This was reported in the Telegram chat of Sber users.

As RBC was informed in the company, only voice control of the "smart" home will be available in applications on iOS. “It will still be possible to control Sber devices with virtual assistants by voice and through the remote control. The ability to connect all devices, except for the smart home, through the web activation page is also preserved,” Sber said in a response.

The company explained that the problems with the operation of the "smart" home are associated with a violation of the network connection settings in remote versions of applications.

On February 24, immediately after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Sberbank came under US sanctions. Soon the bank application was removed from the AppStore.
