“Protective structures” are being installed in the border Belgorod region

The governor of the Belgorod border region announced the installation of "protective structures" almost eight months after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He posted a photo in the Telegram channel.

On the frames – installed concrete gouges, which should protect against the passage of equipment, for example, tanks.

On October 22, Gladkov reported that in the city of Shebekino, two civilians were killed as a result of shelling, almost 15,000 people were disconnected from electricity due to a shell hit. The Russian Investigative Committee stated that one of the victims was a minor child. Sources of The Insider claim that Shebekin residents began to receive reports of shelling after they ended, around 13:00-14:00, when retaliatory launches were already taking place towards Ukraine from the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka. Local residents also told The Insider that Shebekino has been unofficially living under "martial law" since the summer. The city has many parking lots with military equipment and warehouses used by the Ministry of Defense, and on the territory of the Central District Hospital there is now a parking lot for "Urals" and tents.

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the Belgorod region has come under fire more often than other Russian regions, and the Ministry of Defense also reported shooting at a training ground in the Belgorod region, as a result of which 11 people were killed and 15 injured.
