At night, the Russian army attacked Zaporozhye using drones. According to preliminary information, these were Iranian kamikaze drones Shahed-136, said the head of the regional administration Alexander Starukh.
“The enemy continues to use night terror against the civilian population. Tonight, the occupying troops attacked Zaporozhye using drones (preliminarily, Shahed-136 kamikaze drones), as well as the surrounding settlements using S-300 missiles. So, one of the drones hit a public building in the regional center. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties," Starukh said.
According to him, a rocket attack was also carried out on one of the villages of the Zaporozhye region. As a result of the hit of three missiles using S-300 air defense systems, private houses and school premises were damaged.
Earlier today (October 23) it was reported that one of the largest chemical plants in Ukraine was partially de-energized due to a missile strike.
