The government of St. Petersburg has named seven areas of the city that are considered safe and where the population will be evacuated in case of emergency. The list is contained in a draft special government decree, Fontanka writes .
The authorities call the Vyborgsky, Kurortny, Krasnoselsky, Kolpinsky, Primorsky, Pushkinsky and Petrodvorets administrative regions safe.
The adoption of such a resolution is necessary in accordance with the federal law “On approval of the Rules for conducting evacuation measures in the event of a threat of occurrence or occurrence of natural and man-made emergencies,” the publication reports. The law states that evacuations are carried out to "safe areas".
Recall that by decree of Vladimir Putin, St. Petersburg was included in the list of regions with a “basic level of readiness”. According to Governor Alexander Beglov, no additional restrictions will be introduced for residents yet.
