Russian propaganda media, including RIA Novosti, Rossiyskaya Gazeta, and REN TV, published the news that US President Joseph Biden was allegedly removed from power due to "cognitive problems" related to age. At the same time, they referred to an interview with a member of the House of Representatives from the Republican Party, Claudia Tenney, on Fox News.
Here's what Tenney said after watching an interview Biden gave on MSNBC, and based on this, she concluded about his mental abilities:
“It's really sad, but he reminds me of a wax figure of Madame Tussauds. He walks out and gets turned on and delivers the talking points that his shadow government, the staff behind him, is giving him. And he really shows that he is incompetent for this most important job in our country. And I really joined Congressman Randy Jackson's letter about putting him through a cognitive test… that's a serious thing. We have enemies all over the world. You interviewed great people about China, about the unprecedented war in Europe. We need to start looking into whether Joe Biden is truly capable of being president. I think not. I think we need to look at all of these areas."
The congresswoman is simply repeating the long-standing “shadow government” conspiracy theory, which is very popular among the most conservative part of American society (suffice it to recall that about 15% of Americans still believe in QAnon, that is, that there is a sect of satanic paedophiles behind the Democrats) . She is also engaged in the fact that Biden remotely makes various diagnoses. Such "sensations" are quite typical for Fox News and for Tenney herself. For example, in February 2018, after a school shootout in Florida, she claimed without evidence that many of those who commit mass murders end up becoming Democrats. However, even from her words it does not follow that anyone "removed" Biden from governing the country due to the deterioration of his cognitive abilities. On the contrary, she further says that the Republicans will try to do everything to remove the American president from power, including impeachment.
