Military enlistment office set on fire in Kyzyl

In Kyzyl (Tyva), unidentified persons set fire to the building of the city military registration and enlistment office on Rabochaya Street. This is reported by Taiga.info with reference to the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the republic.

“At the time the first unit arrived, the window opening of the building was on fire. From the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 12 people and three pieces of equipment were involved, ”the ministry said.

The Shot Telegram channel writes that evidence was found at the scene pointing to an arson attempt: fragments from a bottle, a medical mask and a rag soaked in fuel.

The military registration and enlistment office building was guarded by two police officers. The fire started around 2:00 am and was reported by a 60-year-old watchman. First, a window caught fire, after which the fire spread to an area of about two square meters, but it was quickly extinguished. A fire alarm was installed at the entrance, which turned out to be faulty. They also found fragments from a bottle, a medical mask and a rag soaked in combustibles.

This is the second arson of the military registration and enlistment office in the republic since the beginning of mobilization. On October 1, unidentified people set fire to the commissariat of the Kyzyl region in the village of Kaa-Khem.

Since the beginning of the mobilization, 36 attacks on administrative buildings have already been recorded throughout Russia.
