Ksenia Sobchak is a suspect in a case of extortion on an especially large scale. This was reported by the RT channel, citing its own source.
On October 26, a search was conducted in the country house of Ksenia Sobchak. According to channel 112, the security forces came to the Gorki-8 cottage settlement in the Moscow region.
Shortly after information about the search, RIA Novosti, citing a source, reported that Sobchak urgently left Russia. “She went through Belarus to Lithuania,” the agency quotes the words of her interlocutor. According to a TASS source, law enforcement officers had an investigator's decision to detain Sobchak.
On October 25, Kirill Sukhanov, commercial director of Sobchak's media holding Caution Media, was detained on suspicion of extortion. Together with him, the former editor-in-chief of Tatler magazine Arian Romanovsky (Kuzmin) was detained. On October 26, they were charged with extortion on an especially large scale.
