The commander of the Russian grouping of troops in Ukraine "Center", Colonel General Alexander Lapin, personally put a pistol to the temples of the mobilized retreating to Svatovo and threatened them with execution. Sota writes about this with reference to the appeal of one of the mobilized Muscovites.
Sota writes that the name, agenda and the document itself are at the disposal of the editors. The appeal was made by the wife of the mobilized from his words.
It says that the Muscovite was called up on September 22, given him a rusty machine gun, and already on October 7 he was sent from the Belgorod region to Ukraine without training.
“In the afternoon, a massive shelling of mortars began at us. Our 2nd platoon and 1st platoon lay in the forest belt, the 5th and 6th companies also lay in the forest belt. As a result of a two-hour shelling, more than 4 were killed and 3 were wounded. Also, after the shelling, the 5th and 6th companies fled to the school, to the basement. A communications company and KamAZ arrived, loaded with ammunition and mines. We ordered the communications company to lie down in the forest belt. The driver of the second KamAZ, realizing what was the matter, quickly drove back.
In the evening of that day, shelling began on us. The commanders of the communications company ordered to sit behind the hangar, as a result of a two-hour shelling, the second hangar was destroyed and an infantry fighting vehicle without a crew was destroyed.
The next morning, a massive shelling began on us, which lasted more than 4 hours. The communications company dispersed in panic during the shelling. In this connection, more than 6 people were killed, more than 3 people were injured.”
After that, the Muscovite, together with his colleagues, retreated to Svatovo. The military was not allowed into the city, so they waited for new orders and tried to find headquarters. At some stage, Lapin came to them with his personal guards. When the lieutenant colonel found out about the retreat, he put a pistol to the head of the commander of the 5th company, Lieutenant V., and ordered the military to return. “He also sounded insults against us (“traitors”, “deserters” and a lot of swear words),” Sota’s source emphasizes.
After that, Lapin and a certain Colonel Rumyantsev left the military, assigning two patrolmen to them, who threatened them with execution. When Rumyantsev returned, the military asked him for food, to which he replied: "A carrion like you should not eat, drink, or sleep."
During the war, Lapin was repeatedly mentioned in the reports of the Ministry of Defense. A colonel-general is called a military man who presents "state awards to servicemen who have shown courage and heroism during a special military operation." For example, to his son Denis Lapin, a lieutenant colonel who commanded a regiment advancing on Chernigov and Sumy.
