Russia used about 400 Iranian Shahed-136 drones in the war against Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said .
“About 400 Iranian drones have already been used against the civilian population of Ukraine… Nevertheless, I am grateful to our military, 60-70% were shot down. This is a good result, but I sympathize with everyone who lost their loved ones due to Iranian drone attacks,” the President of Ukraine said at a meeting with President of Guinea-Bissau Umaru Sissoku Embalo.
On October 17, Ukraine was subjected to massive Russian attacks by Shahed-136 drones. The mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, said that four people were killed in the attack in the Shevchenko district of the city, three were hospitalized, and several people received minor injuries.
Iran denies supplying Russia with Shahed-136 drones, and Russia disguises them as its Geranium-2s, but on October 26, Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog showed photos confirming that Russia is using the Shahed-136 in the war in Ukraine.
