Rossiya-24 correspondent Boris Maksudov filmed a report, after which the Armed Forces of Ukraine, probably, corrected the strike on gasoline tanks in Shakhtyorsk.
On the morning of October 27, the propagandist went on air from the city's railway station, where a large-scale fire broke out on the evening of October 26. Maksudov testified that there were still intact tanks with fuel. A few hours after the report was published, a fire started again at the same place. Pro-Kremlin media write that this is the result of "arrivals" of three HIMARS missiles.
As a result of the fire that occurred on October 26, according to the DPR Ministry of Emergency Situations, 20 fuel tanks were damaged. Ukraine did not comment on its involvement in the attacks.
“In the occupied Shakhtyorsk, Donetsk region, as a result of “careless handling of electric welding devices by station workers who were in a state of alcoholic intoxication,” an explosion occurred in fuel tanks of katsaps intended to refuel the equipment of the entire Donetsk group of troops,” the Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a statement.
