In the Borovsky district of the Kharkiv region, another mass grave was found, in which at least 17 civilian and military bodies were found. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
“Residents told the investigation that the occupiers were collecting the bodies of the dead throughout the area. On April 13, they brought us in two trucks, dug a hole up to 3 meters deep with an excavator, and dumped all the bodies there. Then the burial place was leveled with tanks,” the report says.
All recovered bodies will be sent for a forensic examination to determine the cause of death, the police department said.
On October 26, it was announced that a total of more than a thousand bodies of the dead had been exhumed in the recently liberated territories of Ukraine. Oleg Kotenko, Commissioner for Missing Persons of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, announced this.
He stressed that almost 450 corpses were found in Izyum. After liberation from Russian occupation, one of the most mass graves was discovered there. In almost every city liberated from Russian occupation, mass graves of local residents are found, as well as signs of genocide.
