Residents of the occupied Berdyansk will be checked for subscriptions to Ukrainian resources. This was stated by the occupation administration of the city.
Her message indicates that this is a consequence of the martial law regime introduced by Vladimir Putin in the Zaporozhye region. According to the law, it involves the introduction of military censorship:
“From today in Berdyansk, law enforcement officers have begun a selective preventive check of citizens' mobile phones. Interested in subscriptions to the propaganda resources of the terrorist Kyiv regime.”
When conducting inspections, the security forces will be guided by the laws on “foreign agents” and “discrediting” the Russian army. As examples of "enemy" resources in the message of the occupation administration, channels such as "Berdyansk. Now”, “Berdyansk in occupation” and “Vaseline”.
If a Berdyansk resident has a subscription to one of these channels, he will be warned. In the event of a repeated violation, he will be fined, and for "malicious violations" the occupation administration threatens the townspeople with criminal liability.
