In Lipetsk, students of the RANEPA branch are forced to go to the "unique immersive theater show" "Polite People", which is presented by the organizers as "the first cultural event for the denazification of Ukraine." Visitors are promised "the maximum effect of presence" in the war in Donbass, Kholod writes , citing a law student.
The poster says that viewers of the "immersive cinematic theatrical project" will be able to "see in real time the terrorists of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the work of combat special forces." The stage also promises the appearance of "active military personnel and combat veterans", who will perform with "a set of combat equipment and a chilled weapon."
The student told Kholod that 7–10 people from each group must be sent to the show “without fail”. In total, about 100 people should go there from the RANEPA branch. The department of culture and tourism of the Lipetsk region forced the university to drive students to the event.
“Polite People” is a project for which the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives allocated a grant of more than 10 million rubles. At the same time, the application for a grant was submitted in January – before the start of the war. The announcement also noted the head of the show – this is the soloist of the ensemble "Novorossia", a military man Roman Razum. The foundation's website says the show is supposed to "increase the percentage of patriots in the country", and it also works "with unfavorable youth, especially those who are prone to suicide, terrorism and extremism."
Performances take place in different cities, such as Lugansk , Krasnodar . A total of 11 such shows are planned .
