Actor Smolyaninov fined 30 thousand rubles for “discrediting” the army

The Gagarinsky Court of Moscow fined actor Artur Smolyaninov 30 thousand rubles in the case of "discrediting" the army. It is reported by TASS.

For what kind of statement the actor was fined, it is not reported.

Previously, Smolyaninov has repeatedly spoken out about Russia's invasion of Ukraine. In an interview with Meduza on October 17, he commented on the news that a case had been opened against him. Then the actor claimed that for him there are no laws of this state, since they are criminal and "have neither moral nor legal force."

“There is nothing to be sad about. How to rejoice. You can’t take the insane seriously, otherwise you yourself will say goodbye to the cuckoo. Shrugged and moved on. There are much more significant issues in life, ”Smolyaninov commented on the accusations against him.

The actor also claimed that he was going to leave anyway.

In April, on the YouTube channel of journalist Katerina Gordeeva, an interview with Smolyaninov was published, where he said that he opposed the war. Then he was excluded from a number of projects with state funding – and he left Russia.
