The Russian Defense Ministry said that the organizers of the explosions on the Nord Streams are behind the attack on the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol

The Russian Ministry of Defense published its version of what happened in the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. According to the department, it was a "terrorist attack" on the ships of the fleet and civilian ships.

The Ministry of Defense writes that nine unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and seven autonomous maritime unmanned vehicles (UAVs) were involved in the attack. All of them are said to have been destroyed. In particular, four naval UAVs were shot down on the outer roadstead of Sevastopol, and three more on the inner road.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the ships that were attacked were engaged in ensuring the security of the “grain corridor”. The sea minesweeper Ivan Golubets and the bonnet barrier in Yuzhnaya Bay received minor damage.

The Russian side claims that the 73rd Special Center for Marine Operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was trained by British specialists located in Ochakov, Mykolaiv region, is behind the attack on the fleet. The same specialists, according to the Ministry of Defense, are involved in the explosions of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.

The Sevastopol Bay was attacked by drones on the morning of October 29. After the attack in Sevastopol, the raid was blocked through the bay, which provides communication between the northern and southern parts of the city.
