The occupied Energodar was left without electricity. Ukraine and Russia accuse each other of shelling

The Russian-occupied city of Energodar in the Zaporozhye region of Ukraine was left without electricity. This information is confirmed by both Ukraine and Russia. They blamed each other for the shootings.

The mayor of Energodar, Dmitry Orlov, wrote on his Telegram channel that the Russian military shelled the industrial zone of the city, as a result of which the substation was damaged. “On Sunday morning, the invaders in Energodar started with provocations. Now, as a result of the shelling of the industrial zone by Russians, most of the city was left without electricity. Previously, they hit one of the substations, ”wrote Orlov.

According to him, information on the scale of damage and restoration of power supply is being specified.

According to Russian-appointed mayor Oleksandr Volga, it was the Ukrainian military that hit the energy infrastructure.

On March 4, Russia seized the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and the satellite city of the nuclear power plant Energodar. From that moment on, Russia and Ukraine regularly accuse each other of shelling the station and the city.
