Russia again launches missile attacks on Ukraine. Explosions are heard in Kyiv, Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Poltava and Vinnitsa and other regions of Ukraine, local media reports. Earlier, an air alert was announced almost throughout the country.
There are about 40 missiles in the sky over Ukraine, Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, said. According to him, at least three explosions have already thundered in Kyiv. The head of the Poltava region said that air defense is working. The governor of the Kharkiv region reported on the attacks on infrastructure:
“Two arrivals in Kharkov. The enemy hit a critical infrastructure facility in the city.”
Kharkiv metro announced the stoppage of work.
Critical infrastructure suffered in Zaporozhye. The power supply was cut off in the city, said Anatoly Kurtev, acting head of the Zaporozhye City Council.
