New Zealand imposes sanctions against “neo-Nazi groups” associated with PMC Wagner

New Zealand has imposed sanctions against "neo-Nazi paramilitaries" associated with Wagner PMCs, as well as some Russian military-industrial complex enterprises and their leaders. In total, 14 people and 7 companies were added to the sanctions list. This was reported in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.

"The list includes executives and shareholders of companies that design and manufacture rockets and firearms, as well as members of neo-Nazi armed groups associated with the Wagner mercenary group," the statement said.

The statement does not specify which groupings are involved.

Russian propaganda publications also fell under the sanctions: the InfoRos agency, which, according to New Zealanders, belongs to Russian military intelligence, and the NewsFront website, whose editorial office is located in Crimea.

All sanctioned persons are denied entry to New Zealand, and if they have assets in the country, they will be frozen.
