Kyiv prepares for lack of electricity, water and heat supply due to Russian shelling – Klitschko

The Kyiv authorities are preparing for the worst-case scenario in winter – a complete lack of electricity, water and heat supply due to Russian rocket attacks. This was written by the mayor of the city Vitali Klitschko in the Telegram channel.

According to him, the authorities are preparing more than 1,000 heating points for residents of the city for this case.

“We bought power generators, made supplies of water and everything necessary for these heating points to receive people. It will be possible to warm up in them, drink tea, recharge phones, and get the necessary help.”

At the end of October, due to massive shelling of the energy infrastructure in Ukraine, emergency power outages were introduced. Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko reported that the services are working to eliminate the consequences. Before that, the Yasno company recommended that residents of Ukraine turn off or limit the use of energy devices.

On the morning of October 31, explosions were reported in Kiev, Kharkov, Zaporozhye and many regions of Ukraine. An air raid alert has been declared throughout the country. On October 30, the city of Energodar, occupied by Russia, was left without electricity, Russia and Ukraine accused each other of shelling. On October 17, Kiev was subjected to a massive attack by kamikaze drones, Klitschko reported that several residential buildings were damaged.
