On the night of November 1, the Russian military attacked the Poltava region with drones. As the deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine wrote on the Telegram channel, kamikaze drones participated in the attack.

“The first strike damaged civilian infrastructure. The wreckage hit the warehouse in Poltava, causing a fire. Over the next hour, three more UAVs hit the same area. The total fire area is 3600 square meters. The fire has already been extinguished. No dead or injured have been recorded," Kyrylo Tymoshenko said.

On October 23, the Russian army attacked Zaporozhye using drones. According to preliminary information, these were Iranian kamikaze drones Shahed-136, said the head of the regional administration Alexander Starukh. According to him, a rocket attack was also carried out on one of the villages of the Zaporozhye region. As a result of the hit of three missiles fired by the S-300 air defense system, private houses and school premises were damaged.

The most massive drone attack occurred on October 17th. Several regions were shelled, including Kyiv.

On November 1, it became known that Iran was preparing to send about a thousand more weapons to Russia, including short-range ground-to-ground ballistic missiles and additional attack drones. The supply of arms could give the Kremlin a significant advantage on the battlefield. Sources say the latest shipment of weapons from Iran to Russia included about 450 drones that the Russian military used in Ukraine.
