The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) continue their offensive in the east of the country. According to the updated maps , there were no global changes at the front during the day, the Russian offensive against Vuhledar was bogged down, fighting is underway in the Pavlovka area of the Donetsk region.

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) claimed on the eve that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are on the offensive in the direction of Svatovo and the Kremennaya Luhansk region and in the Kherson region, and Russian troops are on the defensive, especially in southern Ukraine.
The institute's experts also write that Russia's mobilization efforts, combined with Western sanctions, are having a long-term devastating effect on the Russian economy.
