TV presenter Andrey Karaulov was searched at the request of the head of Rostec Chemezov about slander

The security forces came to search the house of the ex-host of the Moment of Truth program Andrei Karaulov. He claims that this is connected with a criminal libel case initiated at the request of the head of the Rostec state corporation, Sergei Chemezov.

“People armed with machine guns tried to cut the gate with a grinder. "The play" is called: "Ksenia Sobchak, act two." It didn’t work out with Sobchak – they come from Karaulov. Which of the prosecutors sanctioned this stupidity and what can be found under the article “slander”, I don’t understand,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to him, the phones in his house are switched off. “Apparently, the dacha was also covered with a “cap”. I wonder how much it costs? What's the budget? Karaulov added.

At the end of October, the court arrested the commercial director of Ksenia Sobchak, Kirill Sukhanov, and the former editor-in-chief of Tatler, Arian Romanovsky, in a case of extortion. The “victim” was the head of Rostec Sergey Chemezov. According to investigators, the defendants extorted 11 million rubles from him for not publishing negative posts on the Put Out the Light Telegram channel (which has not been updated since October 24). At the trial, it turned out that Chemezov personally wrote the statement. After Sukhanov was detained, Sobchak left Russia. On October 26, a search was conducted in the country house of Ksenia Sobchak.
