A bomb shelter was opened in Lipetsk, but it was flooded with water

For the inhabitants of Lipetsk, a bomb shelter was prepared, in which there was knee-deep water. The photo was published in the public Gorod48.ru.

The announcement at the entrance was hung by the management company RSU-2.

“Are they mocking us? If something happens, shall we swim in the water?” — wrote a resident of the house.

On another house in Lipetsk, they also posted a notice about a bomb shelter, but they forgot to indicate the address. The management company reported that "the algorithm for placing Lip residents in shelters is still being finalized."

Earlier, the Agency analyzed public procurement and found out that despite the Russian authorities’ demand to take care of the condition of bomb shelters, in 2022 they spent less on their repairs than in 2021. In January-October 2021, the authorities spent at least 700 million rubles on repairing and equipping shelters. For the same period in 2022, these expenses amounted to 530 million rubles.

At the same time, reports about the preparation of shelters regularly appear in the regions, but there is no official data on how many of them and where to look for them. The authorities purposefully classified this information and prevent those who want to know it in an official way. In reality, as The Insider found out , most cities are not ready for a potential bombing.
