Governor of the Voronezh Region Alexander Gusev named collection of material and financial assistance to mobilized and contract military personnel participating in the war with Ukraine as a manifestation of national unity
So Gusev congratulated the inhabitants of his region on the Day of National Unity.
“Unity for the sake of a fateful goal is a remarkable feature of our people. The desire to act together, not to be afraid of difficulties, to resolutely declare to the world about the interests of the Fatherland is characteristic of modern Russian society […] Our most courageous countrymen are showing it [patriotic spirit] now in the Armed Forces of the country. And many of you give them moral and material support […] this is how national unity is manifested, which is always followed by our historical victories.”
