Marina Tauber, vice-chairman of the Shor party, arrived at the district court of Chisinau in the morning, where a decision on the measure of restraint was expected. As a result, the court rejected the request of Tauber’s lawyers, the politician remains under house arrest. Before the meeting, supporters and representatives of the party staged a picket in front of the court building. There, a deputy of the Chisinau city assembly, Sergei Burgudzhi, confirmed the information about the searches of members and supporters of the Shor party and the detention of the chairman of the Orhei district of Moldova, Dinu Turcanu. According to him, this suggests that the authorities are afraid of protests.
