Peruvian Indians have hijacked a tourist boat, demanding the authorities’ attention to oil spills from a damaged pipeline.

One of the tourists contacted by journalists said that there were about 150 people on the ship, including citizens of the United States, Switzerland, France, Great Britain and Spain, infants, pregnant women, the elderly and the disabled.

According to her, they are all in order, but members of the local community said they would keep them from 6 to 8 days until the Peruvian authorities arrive in the region to clean up the oil spill.
