According to him, the number of those mobilized exceeded the 300,000 originally announced due to the incessant flow of volunteers. Of the total mobilized, 49,000 have already gone "to carry out combat missions," Putin claims. At the same time, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu on November 1 called a different number: according to him, 87,000 mobilized people went to Ukraine.
Russian officials have stated several times that the mobilization in Russia has been completed. However, there was no official decree on this. Putin, commenting on his absence, said: “I will talk to lawyers, I didn’t even think about it, whether it is necessary to announce by decree that it is completed.
