Russia uses the territory of the Kursk nuclear power plant for the storage and maintenance of missile munitions. This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MO).
According to Ukrainian intelligence, over the past few weeks, the Russian military has been transporting missiles for the S-300 air defense system to the underground hangars of the Kurskatomenergoremont enterprise near the village of Ivanino, Kursk region.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine emphasizes that the Kursk NPP can be used by Russia for the storage, concealed placement and maintenance of ammunition, including for Iranian Shahed-136 drones.
On November 1, CNN reported that Iran was preparing to send about a thousand more weapons to Russia, including short-range ground-to-ground ballistic missiles and additional drones. The latest shipment included about 450 drones that Russia used against Ukraine.
