A month after the annexation of the occupied…

A month after the annexation of the occupied territories, Russia was unable to form full-fledged authorities on them. Nestka analyzed who was appointed as officials in the new territories.

Local residents are very reluctant to take on such work, and the occupying authorities have to borrow personnel from regions far from Ukraine, as well as appoint people without experience.

?Administrations, parliaments, courts, prosecutors and police in the occupied territories are not in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and are not registered with the Federal Tax Service, which means they cannot participate in public procurement to ensure their activities.

?Judging by the websites of the occupation administrations of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, a total of only 10 people work there. Phones of authorities either do not answer calls, or do not exist in principle.

?Russian departments of bailiffs in the occupied territories appeared, but they were headed by the “Varangians”. The head bailiff of Sevastopol was taken to the place of the acting head of the UFSSP in the Kherson region, and an official from the Ulyanovsk region became the head of the Zaporozhye department.

?In the Kherson region, the position of the head of the treasury department has been vacant for a month now. In Zaporozhye, one of the organizers of the Ukrainian patriotic action was appointed to this post.

?People without experience are appointed to government posts: a colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a former Ukrainian security official and an ex-deputy director of the airport have become Russian officials.
